2024: Two unique exhibitions in one place

In 2024,, Uzès 1st Duchy of France, labeled City of Art and History since 2008, and classified as a remarkable heritage site since 1965, hosted a new edition of its major exhibitions in the heart of the former Bishopric. This edition will bring together two remarkable exhibitions, "Bugatti, a dynasty of creators" which will honor the Bugatti family (Ettore, Rembrandt and Carlo) and "Monticelli, precursor of impressionism" which celebrated the bicentenary of the birth of the painter Adolphe Monticelli.

The Bugatti Dynasty

Three members of the Bugatti family were honored during this third edition of Uzès Exposition. It was notably possible to discover the cars ofEttore Bugatti, oriental furniture from Carlo Bugatti and bronzes by Rembrandt Bugatti.

Adolphe Monticelli

Another part of the exhibition was entirely devoted to Adolphe Monticelli, precursor of impressionism. A known and recognized artist who notably inspired Van Gogh for many works. Some fifty of his works were exhibited in the rooms of the former Bishopric to celebrate the bicentenary of his birth.
