Uzès Exposition III, announces a unique 2024 exhibition in France with creations from the Bugatti family and works by Adolphe Monticelli.

Two unique exhibitions in one place

From June to 22 13 2024 October, Uzès 1st Duchy of France, labeled City of Art and History since 2008, and classified as a remarkable heritage site since 1965, will host a new edition of its large-scale exhibitions in the heart of the former Bishopric. This edition will bring together two remarkable exhibitions, “Bugatti, a dynasty of creators” which will honor the Bugatti family (Ettore, Rembrandt and Carlo) and “Monticelli, precursor of impressionism” which will celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of the painter Adolphe Monticelli.

The Bugatti Dynasty

Three members of the Bugatti family will be in the spotlight during this third edition of Uzès Exposition. In particular, it will be possible to discover the cars ofEttore Bugatti, oriental furniture from Carlo Bugatti and bronzes by Rembrandt Bugatti.

Adolphe Monticelli

Another part of the exhibition will be entirely devoted to Adolphe Monticelli, precursor of impressionism. A known and recognized artist who notably inspired Van Gogh for many works. Around fifty of his works will be exhibited in the rooms of the former Bishop's Palace to celebrate the bicentenary of his birth.
