Maison de la Figue et Verger conservatoire de Vézénobres

Children's workshops are organized throughout the year.

Discover in Vézénobres a unique place where the fig reveals all its secrets, between tradition, culture and local flavors.
Dive into an immersive, sensory and fun experience, freely accessible, for fig lovers and those wishing to discover all the facets of this emblematic fruit of the Mediterranean basin. The shop offers a varied selection of products around the fig (culinary, crafts, cosmetics, books, etc.) highlighting local producers and artisans.

At the foot of the medieval city, the orchard-conservatory is home to more than a thousand fig trees divided into a hundred varieties, including rare specimens from Spain, Syria and other regions.

Throughout the year, enjoy various activities: guided tours, workshops for children, botanical workshops, tastings, breakfasts, winemaker aperitifs, cooking classes, conferences, etc. Prices on request.

Three key events: the “Figoulade” on August 15, “Jours de figues” on the 3rd weekend of September, and the “Foire de la Saint-André” on the last Sunday of November.

Sustainable tourism

La Maison de la Figue invites us to take some time to understand the importance of consuming locally, protecting cultures and respecting the nature that surrounds us. With the presence of the orchard-conservatory facing south at the foot of the village of Vézénobres, the Maison de la Figue contributes to typically Mediterranean vegetation, and involves the commune in a dynamic of maintaining biodiversity. You can stroll through the heart of a protected, rich and varied ecosystem.
