Description
From the Place de la Madone car park in Remoulins:
Go up the street to pass near the Tourist Office (Place des grands jours) and cross the new Remoulins bridge.
At the roundabout turn right and pass near the building of the community of communes.
At the sign “Combe Pradier” turn left and head towards “le sablas” for 2.5km. (sport climb)
At the sign “le sablas” continue straight on the GR6 (red and white markings) for 500m.
At the “Valmale” sign, turn right and continue on the GR6 (red and white markings) for 1.5km.
You will find remains of the Aqueduct on your way and arrive at a superb panorama of the Pont du Gard.
Go down the path to reach the monument.*
For the return: Right bank, turn right “Pont du gard” for 500m.
Pass near the ticket office and join the path on the right at the “Combe de Roussière” sign.
Then join the path alongside the road which leads back to the village of Remoulins for 2.5km.
* by staying on the hiking trails, crossing the Pont du Gard site is free.
No access possible to the developed and museographic spaces.
