Holidays in Destination Pays d'Uzès Pont du Gard are sometimes synonymous with heat. But we have places to cool off! We have listed the best swimming spots for you. Swimming pool, river or water park, it’s all there!

Natural swimming spots

What's better than swimming and cooling off in a natural space?
The Gardon crosses our territory and offers superb natural swimming spots!

Collias

The most popular place for swimmers is in the village of Collias, on the left bank of the Gardon. You will appreciate the pebble beaches and the freshness of the water. The place is easy to access and is a favorite swimming spot for tourists, but also locals.

Be careful, however, not to go to the departure point of the canoes and to avoid prohibited access points, which are indicated by signs.

Gard's Bridge

How about doing a refreshing break in the river with a view of one of the most beautiful monuments in the world? Meet at Pont du Gard ! Access is free – parking costs €9/vehicle – you will have access to the beaches which overlook the emblematic Roman aqueduct bridge.

This is probably one of the most unusual swimming places you will ever have the opportunity to dive!
