Go back in time: here you are in the 1st century BC, during which the Romans gradually occupied Narbonne Gaul. The city of Nîmes, in particular, attracts their full attention: it is ideally located on the Via Domitia, linking Italy to Spain. The Romans then gave it the title of colony and built numerous monuments in the city and the rest of the Gard region. Among them: the Maison Carrée, the Arena, the Tour Magne and the famous Pont du Gard.
