The Destination Pays d'Uzès Pont du Gard has its head in the stars thanks to the MICHELIN Green Guide! MICHELIN Editions published the 2024 Green Guide a few days ago, and the Destination Pays d'Uzès Pont du Gard continues to shine, to our greatest joy!

The city ofUzes has just obtained the highest distinction from the MICHELIN Green Guide, three stars, and is therefore worth the trip! This award being obtained for the third consecutive year.

Uzès dominates the Eure valley, its silhouette is recognizable at first glance, with its
perfectly preserved medieval architecture... It has well deserved this title of “City of art and history”. This emblematic city has often been compared to a real “Tuscan city”. Through the renewal of this distinction, the heritage, art of living, cultural influence and charm of the city are valued.

Within this city, two major places of local heritage continue to shine. The Fenestrelle Tower, which is the only example of a round campanile in France, is worth a detour with its two star rating.

Finally, the Duchy, a true architectural gem, is worth a visit, once again earning a star.

The village of Castillon-du-Gard has also obtained a star for the second time in a row and is worth a visit. From the top of its rocky spur, Castillon-du-Gard always keeps an eye on the majestic Pont du Gard.

This Roman jewel and essential place of the Destination, obtains, like the city of Uzès, the highest distinction with three beautiful stars. A true symbol of Roman scientific genius, the Pont du Gard is today the highest ancient aqueduct bridge in the world, and deserves a trip in a lifetime!
