Asparagus from Uzège, gariguette strawberries, fruits and vegetables depending on the season, pélardons and other cheese specialties, wines, olive oils, fishmongers and charcuterie… Around sixty producers bring the Place aux Herbes to life from 7:30 a.m.
Please note: the markets of December 25 and January 1 are postponed to the Tuesday before, i.e. December 24 and December 31 at the same times.
For more than twenty years, the Wednesday producers' market has been the symbol of the excellence of local Gard products and a precursor of short circuits.
Since the 13th century, Place aux Herbes has been the epicenter of Uzès' markets.
Beyond the essential weekly markets, Uzès promotes local production and gastronomy throughout the year with numerous events dedicated to the region: truffle weekend, olive festival, wine fair. garlic, night markets in summer, wine festivals and for over twenty years a Christmas market. There is something for every taste !
