Les Capitelles sur la montagne d'Uzès – Visite guidée Uzès, Ville d'art et d'histoire

Long misunderstood, these vernacular constructions from the 18th and 19th centuries have many stories to tell us about the life and work of ordinary people, whom history has so often forgotten.

You will thus discover, along the capitelles trail, a representative ensemble of Languedoc dry stone construction whose ancestral know-how, still very much alive, was classified in 2018 by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of humanity!

Meeting point at the Eure valley parking lot. Reservation required at the tourist office or online, no ticket office on site!

Duration of the visit 2h30-3h, 6 km trail, 100 m elevation gain. Bring good shoes.
