A participatory puzzle to discover the illustration of Ilonka Karasz. Ilonka Karasz, Hungarian-American illustrator and designer, created the illustration for The New Yorker in 1937.
Considered a pioneer of modern woven textiles in the United States, who mastered the jacquard loom, she is one of the few women to design textiles for airplanes and cars.
She painted covers for the New Yorker from 1924 to 1973.
Entitled Winter weekend, 1000 pieces will have to be placed before discovering this illustration.
The participatory puzzle is installed on the upper floor of the Media Library.
The idea is to do it together in passing.
