For the truffle season, the Town Hall of St-Quentin-la-Poterie offers you a truffle market (sales by producers). Truffle product stands and direct sales & truffle hunting demonstration. Catering and tasting on site.
As part of the "Truffle Season", the Town Hall of St Quentin la Poterie is offering you, in partnership with the Uzès Agricultural Promotion Committee, in conjunction with the Gard Truffle Producers' Union, a special "TRUFFLE FESTIVAL" weekend on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February.
From 9 a.m., the city's Market Hall will be the scene of delicious discoveries and tastings based on truffles.
At the market, until 14 p.m., visitors will be able to buy fresh truffles from truffle growers and producers. They will also be able to enjoy truffle products that can be consumed on site or taken away afterwards from the many culinary stands.
In total, around fifteen exhibitors and producers will be present.
The restaurateurs of St Quentin will also offer menus based on this “rare pearl” with a unique taste in the world.
At the market, an omelette made on site and as you go will be offered for sale.
Until 14 p.m., many events are organized on the square around the truffle market:
– A musical atmosphere will envelop the Halle with the tunes of French and international variety from the artist duo (piano and saxophone) of the “Attitude Groove” Group.
– Dog digging demonstrations and truffle dog training demonstrations
