Exposition Veduta de Thomas Jorion
Galerie Jouve-Brown 2 Rue du 4 septembre 30700 Uzès
After “Silencio” and “Vestiges of Empire”, photographer Thomas Jorion continues his questioning of buildings and places in ruins, abandoned by men.
Thomas Jorion traveled across Italy, from Piedmont to Sicily, via Veneto and Tuscany. He came back with surprising and timeless images of residences, villas and palaces dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
Thus, the glittering world of wealthy post-Renaissance Italians is captured in a state of tragic and sublime decay. A meditation that brings humans back to their metaphysical questions.
