Exposition – Tribal : femmes, tatouages et chasseurs de têtes

Friday October 11
Médiathèque 57 rue Principale 30700 Montaren-et-Saint-Médiers
Jean-Stéphane Vissouze's photographs tell the story of customs and tribal life in Africa and Asia. His studies in ethnology and sociology as well as his numerous travels allow us to better understand the stigmata of peoples elsewhere.
Born in Cameroon, Jean-Stéphane Vissouze, was marked, in his childhood, by a strong experience within a ceremony between villagers in an ecstatic trance and flamboyant warriors... From then on, he would say that another reality was offered to him. him.

His studies in ethnology and sociology at Paris VIII as well as his travels to Burma, India, Laos, China... allow us to better understand the stigmata of peoples elsewhere.
