La House of the Gardon gorges and Beaver House
Recognized as a “biosphere reserve”, the Gardon gorges have an exceptional character and
are home to a remarkable and preserved ecosystem. The management and operation of the site are coordinated by the Mixed Syndicate of the Gorges du Gardon, which does everything possible to protect this territory which constitutes the habitat of charismatic species.
To find out more about these species, go to Sainte-Anastasie, at the Maison des gorges du Gardon. This house allows you to stock up on knowledge about this exceptional natural heritage.

medieval garden
Walking through the doors of the Medieval Garden is like going back in time. Head to the medieval era, discovering a lush garden and the imposing towers of the King and the Bishop, classified as historic monuments. This botanical garden, a small oasis in the heart of Uzès, has more than 400 varieties of labeled plants. Discover all the virtues of plants and their uses in the Middle Ages. For the more adventurous, we invite you to climb the 100 steps of the King’s Tower. You will be rewarded with a magnificent panorama of the roofs of the city and its surroundings.

The Seaquarium Marine Institute
Come discover the mysteries of the Mediterranean underwater world and their secrets at the Seaquarium, located in the Petite Camargue! You will be amazed by the thousand and one forms of life that reside there: moray eels, scorpionfish, triggerfish, seals and sea lions.
Through a two-hour journey, you explore this aquatic world, in a way that is both
entertaining and educational. Children thus become actors in the preservation of ecosystems
sailors. The highlight of the show: the Requinarium, a unique attraction in Europe. This space, which extends over two floors, is entirely dedicated to the most feared predator of our oceans: the shark.
The Bambouseraie in the Cévennes
La Bambouseraie is an extraordinary exotic garden, without equivalent in Europe, which takes you on a journey across the five continents. This place offers you a
immersive experience in the middle of lush vegetation. The preservation of biodiversity is the
constant concern for this unique site.
With family or friends, discover the Bambouseraie in an original way with a treasure hunt “the quest for Alya’s flower”. This fun approach challenges you to use your sense of observation and your deduction skills. You will thus discover the challenges of preserving nature in the park.
Fig house and conservatory orchard of Vézénobres
This 200m² space is located in the basement of the Château de Girard, which dates back to the XNUMXth century. It offers you an immersive experience to discover the emblematic tree of the Mediterranean basin. At the heart of this place, you find unique scenography work. This combines educational content and a fun approach promoting the exploration of the senses. Through different thematic rooms, you explore the history of the fig in Vézénobres.
So that children can discover the fig and its history, this site also offers dedicated fun workshops. On the program: detect figs, fig hunt, treasure hunt, creation of figs in clay, and of course snacks, to deliciously discover this star fruit.
