SACEM

Accommodations such as guest rooms, lodges, vacation rentals, as well as hotels, tourist residences or even campsites are subject to payment of copyright when musical and/or audiovisual broadcasts are offered, whether either in accommodation or in common areas.

Voluntary approaches

The star rating

It is a voluntary approach by hosts which provides a guarantee of quality, services and comfort to French and international customers.

Unlike other types of tourist accommodation, there is no star rating for bed and breakfasts in France.

To compensate for this lack, Atout France has set up the Bed and Breakfast Reference standard. It is neither a label nor a certification, but this reference frame allows the bed and breakfast activity to be framed. In fact, this reference reassures the customer by guaranteeing a quality of service.
Chambre d'Hôtes Reference is also a solution for owners keen to qualify their offer, but not wishing to adhere to a label

Tourism labels

There are also many labels, to help you, the CRTL wanted to provide you with a guide to tourism labels in Occitania. Its aim is to guide you in the steps relevant to your objectives, adapted to your audiences, visitors and residents, in order to engage in the qualification of your tourist offer.
